There are about 250 species of owls in the world, and most of these are nocturnal, meaning they are awake and hunting at night.
They are not often spotted as they are usually solitary birds that stay hidden in the day and are well camouflaged and silent for hunting at night.
That is why these owl cams are a fantastic opportunity to get to see these fascinating birds up close.
Many of these owl cams are based in the United States and include Great Horned Owls, Barn Owls, Long-eared Owls, Screech Owls, Barred Owls, and Great Gray Owls.
There are more owl cams from other countries in Europe and also from Israel. These include Little Owls and Barn Owls.
Some of these owls started laying in January so you can watch the action now.
Some of the other owls will not start laying until March or April so don’t worry if there is not much happening yet, keep checking back to keep up with all the happenings.
I hope you enjoy them!
